ABOUT SISTER LUCILLE BAND

The Sister Lucille Band is a four piece souful Blues and Roots band hailing from Southwest Missouri. With so much of their inspiration coming from their "musician family" in Memphis Tn, this band is well versed in the art of Blues and entertainment. After 20 years of on stage experience together Kimberly Dill's soulful, gut wrenching vocals and Jamie Holdren's heartfelt, blistering solo's are sure to turn every head in the room! Sister made semi finals at the 2015 International Blues Challenge and is also a member of Women in the Blues! The band was voted "Most Promising New Artist" at the 31st Music Pioneer Awards in 2016 in Memphis Tn! Kimberly started her music career singing Country music in the early 90's. She recorded three songs at Hilltop Studios in Nashville Tn. with Brent Masson on guitar! She also performed at both the Ryman Auditorium and the Grand Ole Opry opening for legendary musicians Kitty Wells and Jack Green! Kimberly followed her heart as music evolved and found herself falling in love with old Blues/Roots standards and now performs Blues/Roots music in venues all across the Midwest/South! Jamie Holdren got his 1st guitar at the age of 6 years old and started his music career in his early teens. Jamie played with several sucessful local bands and always loved to write his own music. With raising his son being his number one priority, he turned down offers to tour nationally to focus on his family. Years later, after his son was all grown up and after discovering Memphis with Kimberly, Jamie returned to his roots, found a new passion for playing guitar and found himself imersed in the Blues/Roots genre! The soulful rhythm section consists of  Eric Guinn on the bass guitar and Kevin Lyons on the drums. Eric is a very talented guitarist and vocalist who has played with many great bands and toured all over the Midwest! Kevin Lyons is a versitial drummer with experience in many different styles of music. With a BA in music performance from the University of Buffalo, Kevin has played with such artists as Ray Stevens, Boxcar Willie, Bobby Vinton and the Lawerence Welk show just to name a few. The combination of these four musicians creates an energy that is undeniable and music that is infectious!
